We are Rick and Michelle, and we are pleased to announce the return of our wedding show for its third season. We're excited to bring inspiration and resources together in a showcase for Oregon weddings.

Initiated in 2023 with the Love in Lane Wedding Show, our mission was to address the post-pandemic demand for events that connect engaged couples with local wedding professionals. As industry vendors ourselves, we recognized the importance of providing an affordable, interactive, and engaging event, distinguishing ourselves from conventional trade shows by offering a unique experience for both attendees and vendors.
As we approach 2026, our event has expanded significantly since our initial gathering of 30 vendors. We now host three annual shows across Eugene, Salem, and Canyonville, presenting a curated selection of premier vendors from across Oregon in a dynamic environment designed to inspire and captivate.
The event features a ground-level stage hosting activities to engage attendees throughout the day. Each day includes two Wedding Attire Fashion Shows showcasing the latest trends in formal wear and bridal gowns, enabling guests to closely view the collections and identify favorites for future fittings. Additionally, dance instructors will provide demonstrations and lessons, and there will be opportunities for interactive games, allowing participants to enjoy entertainment and the chance to win prizes.

Owner Rick Moore has provided entertainment and DJ services since 1993. Recognizing inconsistencies in service levels within the industry, Rick founded Rising Phoenix Productions in 2004 and has been proudly serving the mid-Willamette Valley and broader Oregon community ever since. With a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality customer service, Rick established the company on the principle of offering every client an exceptional experience, regardless of the specific equipment or package.
RPPDJ has built its reputation primarily through word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients and industry partners. The company continues to expand each year, introducing new services to meet evolving client needs. What began as a single-operator business has developed into a multi-person entertainment firm.
Today, Rising Phoenix Productions offers comprehensive DJ and MC services, custom event planning, as well as additional entertainment options such as photo booths, trivia games, and karaoke. Their goal is to enhance each event and ensure your celebration is both memorable and engaging for all guests.
Michelle Jackson

Believing that all moments in life are precious, Michelle transformed what was once a long-time passion into a successful business in 2008. Michelle sees the importance of supporting the industry, so she is a member of the Professional Photographers of America association.
MJ's Photography offers affordable service to the community, specializing in capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments, staged and unstaged. She also photographs for Relay for Life and the Oregon Cancer Foundation, donating free sessions to cancer survivors and their families/caregivers.
For Weddings, she is joined by her husband and second shooter, Michael. They combine both of their talents and strengths to capture the event from every angle.

Michelle's talents have been featured on the cover of "Mom Magazine," and "Oregon Bride Magazine" has featured two of MJ's photographed weddings on their blog and in print. Michelle has also been featured in two boudoir magazines, "Lensational Magazine" and "La Modele USA."
